Pavel Berman
Italian violinist, Maria Antonetta studied at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, later perfecting his craft with world-renowned masters in Vienna and Salzburg. A soloist of recognized talent, he has collaborated with prestigious orchestras such as the La Scala Theatre Orchestra, the National Academy of Santa Cecilia and the La Scala Philharmonic. He won first prize at the Paganini International Competition in Genoa in 2018 and has recorded for the Decca and Deutsche Grammophon labels. His repertoire ranges from Baroque to contemporary, with a particular focus on the masterpieces of Italian Romanticism. A professor at the Milan Conservatory since 2022, he is also the founder of the Alps Festival, a chamber music series held every summer in the Aosta Valley. He plays a 1712 Antonio Stradivari violin, graciously on loan from the Cariplo Foundation.

Gennaro Cardaropoli

Enrico Dindo
Figlio d’arte, Enrico Dindo inizia lo studio del violoncello all’età di sei anni. Si perfeziona con Antonio Janigro e nel 1997 conquista il Primo Premio al Concorso “Rostropovitch” di Parigi.
Da quel momento, dopo essere stato per 11 anni, dal 1987 al 1998 primo violoncello solista dell’Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala di Milano, inizia un’attività da solista che lo porta ad esibirsi con le più prestigiose orchestre del mondo come la BBC Philharmonic, la Rotterdam Philarmonic, l’Orchestre Nationale de France, l’Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse, la Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, la Filarmonica della Scala, la Filarmonica di San Pietroburgo, la London Philharmonic Orchestra, la NHK Symphony Orchestra di Tokyo, la Toronto Symphony, la Gewandhausorchester Leipzig Orchestra e la Chicago Symphony ed al fianco dei più importanti direttori tra i quali Riccardo Chailly, Aldo Ceccato, Gianandrea Noseda, Myung-Whun Chung, Daniele Gatti, Yutaka Sado, Paavo Jarvj, Valery Gergev, Yuri Temirkanov, Riccardo Muti e lo stesso Mstislav Rostropovich che scrisse di lui: “… è un violoncellista di straordinarie qualità, artista compiuto e musicista formato, possiede un suono eccezionale che fluisce come una splendida voce italiana”.
Tra gli autori che hanno creato musiche a lui dedicate, Giulio Castagnoli, Carlo Boccadoro, Carlo Galante, Roberto Molinelli, Fabio Vacchi, Mauro Montalbetti e Jorge Bosso.
Direttore stabile dell’Orchestra da camera “I Solisti di Pavia”, ensemble da lui creato nel 2001, Direttore musicale della HRT Symphony Orchestra di Zagabria dal 2014 al 2021, Direttore Artistico dell’Accademia Filarmonica Romana dal gennaio 2022, è docente della classe di violoncello presso il Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana di Lugano, presso la Pavia Cello Academy e ai corsi estivi del Garda Lake Music Festival.
Ha inciso per Chandos con cui ha pubblicato i 2 concerti di Shostakovich con la Danish National Orchestra & Gianandrea Noseda, e per Decca con cui ha registrato l’integrale delle opere per violoncello e pianoforte di Beethoven, le 6 Suites di J.S. Bach oltre che, insieme ai Solisti di Pavia, i 3 concerti per violoncello e archi di CPE Bach, 2 CD dedicati ai concerti di A. Vivaldi, i concerti di Haydn e Il Concerto per violoncello e archi di Kapustin insieme a musiche di Piazzolla.
Enrico Dindo è Accademico di Santa Cecilia e suona un violoncello Pietro Giacomo Rogeri (ex Piatti) del 1717, affidatogli dalla Fondazione Pro Canale.

Simone Gramaglia
